John Brumhead was baptised on 2nd September 1806 at Stamford Baron in Northamptonshire, son of Ann Brumhead, formerly Newborn, and her husband John Brumhead, a cordwainer. Young John died when he was only two years old, being buried at Stamford Baron on 22nd May 1809.
