"John³ Bradstreet (Capt. Moses 25-7, Humphrey 25), born on the Bradstreet farm in Ipswich, Dec. 1662. … He was a mariner, commanding the trading ship "Unity," and died on the Island of Barbadoes, 21 July, 1699, as shown by the inventory of his estate (Essex Probate). Guardianship of his children, Moses aged about eight, Elizabeth aged about five, Hannah aged about two, was granted 2 Oct., 1699 (Essex Probate)."
