The Ancestral File gives a marriage of John Bliss and Agnes Old on 27 Jan 1587/8 in Stowe Nine Church, Northamptonshire, which some compilers have assigned to John Blysse of Preston Parva. However, the Ancestral File indicates that the John Bliss who married in Stowe is a different person, who was baptized in Stow Nine Church in 1560/61 and died in 1631.
