XII. John Blair of that ilk, who got a charter under the great seal, Johanni Blair de eodem, terrarium de Ramshorn, Meadow-Flat, etc. etc. etc. in the shires of Edinburgh and Lanark, dated 18 February 1597.
He married ___, daughter of ___, by whom he had three sons.
1. Bryce or Bricius, his heir.
2. James, who got two charters under the great seal, Jacobo Blair de Malsmure, fratri germano Bricii Blair de eodem, et Annabella Stewart ejus sponsa, terrarium de Nether Neward, Kirkbuddo, etc. in Ayrshire, dated in June 1615.
3. Robert of Bogtoun, father of Sir Adam Blair of Bogtoun, designed nephew of Sir Bryce Blair of that ilk, etc.
John died anno 1609, and was succeeded by his eldest son, Bryce, or Bricius XIII.
