Facts and Events
1756 - Baptism: John, son of John BEALES and Susannah. There are no other records found at North Lopham for children of John BEALES and Susannah in this time-frame, so John has been provisionally placed as a child of Stephen BAILS/BEALES and Susannah LEADER/LEEDER until proved otherwise. 1806 - Likely to be the John BEALES, butcher, holding land in North Lopham and living there, entitling him to vote. (Norfolk Poll Book) 1811 - Second marriage is based on the fact that no other John BEALES of North Lopham is known to be a widower at this time. 1817 - As above, presumed to be the John BEALES, owning and occupying freehold land in North Lopham. Also appears to be listed as owning and living in South Lopham. (Norfolk Poll Book) 1832 - Burial: John BEALES, aged 76. |
