April 30, 1690; (5) Daniel; Joseph settled in Haverhill, was a merchant there, m. Hannah Peaslee, dau. of Nathaniel, of Haverhill, had 6 chil., among them Joseph, who lived in Gilmanton, N. H., was General of Militia, Judge of Probate, Member of the Council of Safety, &c., and was father of Hon. Joseph Badger, jr., of Gilmanton, and grandfather of the late William Badger, Governor of New Hampshire."
