    9 Jan 1759: "Whereas the Estate of Dr John Allen late of the same Town Decease is represented to be Insolvent" Thomas Greenwood authorized to receive & examine claims against the estate. 8 Jun 1760 reported to total £ 128.18.1. With Funeral charges and expenses £ 142.9.1.
    8 Oct 1760: Lebanon CT: "Jerusha Allen a minor daughter of the Late Doct'r John Allen of Newtown (Deceased) came personally before me the Subcriber, and made Choice of Her Uncle Mr Phineas Cook of Newtown to be her Guardian. Certified Jon'th Trumble Assis't."
