"2-4. John2 Acy (William), was about 40 years old, 1678 (Essex Ct. Files, 23:27-8). He married in Hampton, N. H., 5 June, 1676, Hannah, daughter of Henry Green of Hampton (Registry of Deeds, Exeter, N. H.). … He died 1690. The inventory of his estate was taken 24 Mar., 1690-1, and filed in court the next day (Essex Probate). John Acy recieved from his father, William Acy, by deed, dated 9 Apr., 1675, one-half of house, barn and home lot in Rowley, between the homestead of Joseph Horsley towards the sourth and the homestead of Thomas Tenney towards the north, abutting on the street towards the east, and on the brook towards the west, together with the other half after grantor's decease (Essex Deeds, 3 Ips.:373). These were the original lots laid out to John Trumble and John Haseltine."
