'Klas Peters was the son of Klaas Peters (Jun 1793, Neuenburg-21 Nov 1837) ... and the grandson of Johann Peters (1 Jan 1750-4 May 1834) and Helena Neufeld of Neuenburg and Nieder Chortitza.'

The identification of Johann's wife as Helena Neufeld is apparently based on Chronicles and Genealogy of Abram Edmund Klassen Family by Isaac P. Klassen, David Friesen and Helena Braun. Schapansky, in The Old Colony (Chortitza) of Russia (p. 307) states "The reference to a Johann Peters who married Helena Neufeld (b. 1771) appears to refer to Johann Peters junior" - that is, the son of Johann Peters (1750-1834).

    'Johann Peters (1.1.1750-4.5.1834) Neuenburg 1793, Neuendorf 1795, 1802, Niederchortitza 1803, 1806, 1814
A son of Johann Peters, Quadendorf 1776: 1 son, 2 dau., Danzig Gem..
    m1) Eliesabeth Töws (d. before 1795)
    m2) Agatha X (b. 1771) ...
Note: ... Johann Peters [1750-1834] may have lived at Neunhuben, Danzig, at some time. Eliesabeth Töws was likely the daughter of Jacob Töws, Neunhuben 1776: 1 dau., no wife listed (Danzig Gem.).
In the 1795 list I have assumed that the name of the senior [1750-1834] Johann Peters' wife is misstated as Helena instead of Agatha. The reference to a Johann Peters who married Helena Neufeld (b. 1771) appears to refer to Johann Peters junior [1777-1837].'

The last bit of information about Elisabeth (that she lived in Nieder-Chortitz) is incorrect, as she had died by the time Johann Peters moved to Nieder-Chortitz.
