Johan came from Karsikko on the Swedish side of the Tornio Valley in 1846, and after a short time in Vadso, he settled in Neiden in 1847. The year after, he married the daughter of Paul Christian Edkahl and acquired his land which there was so much controversy about. In 1848 there was a survey and assessment in which part of the public attempts were agreed to, which calmed down the controversies in the town. The Enbusk property in Neiden was often called Karsikko, and the use of the name still continues to this day. Karsikko is actually a special cutting of the inner branches of large spruce trees. This practice actually came to the Tornio valley from Karelen, and it was probably visitors who bestowed this honor or special attention.

In 1865, property became expanded by the surveys of A. Carlsen and M. Orrajarvi land; they lost their places and that land became Enbusk's. The property was assessed with 1 cow and 2 sheep; now it was assessed as 8 cows and 2 sheep and given the name "Baardavaran-Alla. This was a large farm for the times, and in the same year the national census listed the livestock: l horse (probably the first in Neiden), 9 cows, 7 sheep and 9 reindeer. In 1880 the farm was additionally expanded with the leasing of "Skovslatte" in Lov (leaf) Vallely.

Johan Enbusk was known as a person of orderly, regular habits, and industrious and enterprising man who got much out of the land and did not need to take part in fishing to get along. On the Tax Rolls, he distinguished himself as punctual taxpayer the whole period from when he was a young man in 1848 until 1900 and for such a long time, one can not say that about the other taxpayers and pioneers of the 1800's.

He was also knowledgeable and informed. and by 1865 spoke Norwegian, and there were not many immigrants who could. In his young life, he had been a soldier in the Finnish Army, and he was very proud of that. He was married 3 times, and a number of his children grew up on the farm, also foster children the family took in when he was getting along in years. Others in this family went to America, and one the the sons, Jacob Enbusk, was very successful over there. He had a large farm with 20 horses in front of the harvester, and he visited the old country tow or three times. None of the children of Johan Enbusk stayed on the farm. From the 1900 census he and his wife, Sofie, lived there with 2 foster children. All the others moved away. The farm was taken over by a nephew, August Enbusk, from Bugoynes who had come to Neiden to work as a farmhand. After that, his son, Alf Enbusk took over.
