Dr. J.H. Lomax Dies In Wichita
Word was received this week of the death of Dr. J. H. Lomax, former Carnegie resident, who has been living in Wichita, Kansas for the past five years.
Dr. and Mrs. Lomax moved to Carnegie in July 1933, where he was engaged in chiropractic practice, and lived here until December, 1935 when failing health caused him to retire from his profession and he moved back to his home in Wichita, Kansas. He has been employed in the Beech Craft corporation for the past year.
He was stricken suddenly and was ill for five weeks in the St. Francis hospital in Wichita. He died September 25, at the age of 59 years, and was buried at the Maple Grove cemetery on the 28th of September.
Survivors include his wife, one son, Louis, a grandson, Edwin, and a host of relatives and friends.
