    Jeremiah2 Jewett (Joseph 101), born in Bradford, England, about 1637; married 1 May, 1661, Sarah, daughter of Thomas Dickinson (54) His home was in Ipswich Village near the Rowley line, on the farm his father gave him on the "Norwest side of Egipt River." He was a member of Rowley Church. He died 20 May, 1714, aged 77 years (G. S. Rowley). His will, dated 1 Dec., 1713, mentions wife, Sarah, and "sons and daughters" unnamed (Essex Probate, 311:136). He was a soldier in King Philip's War (Bodge). His widow, Sarah, died 30 Jan., 1723-4 (Ch. R.).
