    Death of Jelle Pelmulder p.5
    Jelle Pelmulder, for 16 years clerk of courts for Sioux county and one of its oldest residents, died, at his home in Orange City yesterday afternoon, aged 83 years. Mr. Pelmulder was a careful business man and universally esteemed. He came to Sioux county from Pella in 1870 and became its first clerk of courts. So faithfully and methodically were his duties performed that he was continued in office for 16 years. There are eight living children, his wife having died during the small pox visitation in 18S2. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon from the First Reformed church.
    Sioux county and Orange City have suffered a distinct loss in the death of this honored citizen. The following are the children: .John Pelmulder Hurley, S. D., Rev. Chas.
