John Lillard and Mildred Jones In 1700 John Lillard anglicized his name from Jean to John and married Mildred Jones. Mildred died around 1720 and John and his son Benjamin moved to Prince William Co. Virginia, near the present town of Manassas. John remarried Martha Littlejohn. John Lillard and Martha had one daughter Sarah.

John & Benjamin were sent to America by Moise Lillard because of political unrest due to their being Huguenots. They came in 1685.
