On brother Honore LEBLANC's deposition given 5 Feb 1767: Jean LE BLANC, born in St. Charles of Grande Pre at the Mines in Acadia, son of Jacques & Catherine LANDRY, married Magdeleine THERIOT, son [sic] of Germain & Anne BROUSSARD of St. Charles parish. [Listed in same paragraph with sister Anne, both listed (1) [in original?]; other children each have own paragraph with separate numbering. Could this indicate they were twins?]

Jean-(Jacques) LEBLANC, born 1702, son of Jacques & Catherine LANDRY, married around 1728 to Madeleine TERRIOT, daughter of Germain & Anne RICHARD; eight children. He lived at St. Charles des Mines, was deported to Southampton, England, where he died, as also his wife.

Jean LE BLANC, son of Jacques & Catherine LANDRY, married at Grand Pré around 1728 to Madeleine TERRIOT [parents?]. He and several other LE BLANC families were exiled to England in 1755, then to France, being at Belle-Isle-en-Mer in 1765 (Reference: Daligaut, LES ACADIENS EN BRETAGNE; p. 5). Only Simon came to Louisiana in 1785; the others remained in France.
