Jean DAIGLE, born about 1699, son of Bernard & Marie BOURG, married 1st on 10 Nov 1721 at St. Charles-des-Mines, Acadie to Marie-Madeleine LANDRY, daughter of Claude & Catherine THIBODAUX; three children listed. He married 2nd on 3 Feb 1727 at St. Charles-des-Mines to Marie-Anne BRAUD, daughter of Francois & Marie COMMAUX; twelve more children. In 1752 Jean with his 2nd wife and twelve children were residents of Riviere-du-Moulin-a-Scie on Isle St. Jean. On 23 Jan 1759 Jean was a widower with six children when they disembarked at St. Malo from one of the "Five ships." He died 18 Feb 1759 at the hospital at St. Malo, age 60 years.
