Some internet sources claim that this Jean Armstrong married [2nd] a John Robinson in 1783 in Lincoln County, North Carolina, but Lincoln County, North Carolina Marriage Records, 1741-2011, show that it was Mary Leeper, daughter of this Jean Armstrong that married John Robinson 13 January 1783 in Lincoln County, North Carolina, and Mary's elder brother Matthew Leeper [also a son of this Jean Armstrong] provided surety for the marriage bond listed.
