Northampton, widow, late wife of Richard Coles of Preston, gent., deceased: 20 nobles to 20 poor maidens as shall next be married in Preston after the death of said Jane; to Ambrose Willes, son in law £20; to Amy Willes, her daughter and wife of Ambrose £6:13s:4d.; to Edward Edwardes and William Trust, sons in law, all residue of goods and chattels for the education of their children by their wives Ursula and Agnes, her daughters; to Edward Edwardes and William Trust and Ursula and Agnes, their wives, all lands, tenements in England; other small bequests to her grandchildren and servants. Northampton, gent., and Richard Colles, his son and heir: (i) that the marriage between said Richard and Johanna Bonde take place before All Saints next following the date hereof (ii) said Peter and Richard to provide an estate in lands of the yearly value of £5 to the use of said Johanna during her life and after her death and the death of said Richard to the use of their issue (iii) said Peter and Richard to provide an estate in lands of the yearly value of £15 over and above said £5 to the use that immediately after the death of said Peter they remain to the only use of said Richard and Johanna and their issue.
