The following contributed by Mary Frances Cornell January 2011: Per Obit: Started practice of medicine in Stark County, Ohio in 1909 right after graduation. He moved to Good Hope in Fayette County in 1921 where he practiced for six years before going to Washington Court House in 1926 as the county's health commissioner. He remained there in that position until 1942 when he resigned to take a similar position at Rogers City, Michigan. However, he returned to Washington CH in 1945 to practice medicine until 1948 when he retired. His home was at 511 W Circle Avenue. He was a member of the staff of Memorial Hospital in Washington CH when it opened. Services held at the Kirkpatrice Funeral Home by Rev. L J Poe, pastor of Grace Church.
