Married Nov. 1, 1750, Mary Butterfield of Hollis, N.H. He lived at Hollis, N.H., where his name was on the first tax list in 1740. He was one of the signers of a petition dated June 18, 1744, for soldiers to garrison the town. He went to the French and Indian War from Hollis, N.H."
