More research needed. He is a pos s/o Thomas Stephenson/Stevenson who obtained a 1000 ac preemption in Lincoln Co. in 1781, located abt one mile east of Logan's Fort (now Stanford, KY). Note: Sarah's father, John Hall, also had a 1000 ac preemption that adjoined the Stephenson preemption on the south end.
