The Library of Virginia online digital collection of documents relating to bounty land claims appears to have a discharge signed by Colonel Charles Dabney discharging someone named James Richie after service in the 2nd Virginia Regiment; the discharge appears to be dated sometime in 1780. The image of the discharge is too compromised to transcribe and may or may not relate to this veteran.]
