Fought in WWI. Married in Virginia where he was stationed. Worked as an engineer after the war, but his real passion was golf. He did not work full time very often after WWII, but rather cared for the home and his golf game while his wife taught violin privately and at local schools. He played and held court at Twin Hills Country Club until the 80s.
