There was a J. H. Neely on the 1908 Tax Rolls of Johnston County, Tishomingo Township.

James Neely of Garrett Township, School District 23, Section 12 was 0n 1908 Tax Roll and listed as having 66 96/100 acres with a value of $10/acre.

There was a J.H. Nealy in Criminal Process records of 1903, I. T. for retailing malt liquor.

There was a J.H. Neeley who was manager of an Ice House in Mill Creek, OK. There was also a J.H. (Henry) Neeley who was appointed deputy at Mill Creek, and a J.H. Neely of Mill Creek that borrowed $25 on June 9, 1903 with 4 cattle as collateral. (not the same as this James Henry Neely but may be related)... see 1910 census for Mill Creek.

There was a registered voter in Johnston County in 1908 named James Neely, Truox Precinct
