    ...Born July 31, 1856, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he married Julia O'Connor in 1886, who died June 5, 1925. He died September 12, 1937 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James McGuire, in Hamilton Township, Clare County; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Hayes and one brother, Thomas Mitchell, both of Mackinaw; 15 grandchildren and several neices and nephews."
