DEED: WV; Monroe Co.; Deed Book A; p. 67 - 17 Jun 1800, James Miller Jr. and Elisabeth his wife sell to Samuel Garvin, 52 ac. for 5 shilings betweeen Cook and Boudy Estill survey on Indian Creek
DEED: WV; Monroe Co.; 21 Sep 1802 - James Miller, Jr. and Elizabeth, his wife, of the one part and Richard Gartin of the other part, all of Monroe County. For one dollar, James Miller Jr. conveys 28 3/4 acres to Richard Gartin. Land is part of original survey dated 21 Sep 1802 and lies in the northwest corner of James Miller's survey of 337a on Indian Creek, it being part of said survey joining where said Gartin now lives and for said Gartin.
Monroe Deed Book D. Indenture 18 July, 1815 between James Miller and Elizabeth, his wife, of the county of Campbell, Tennessee, by Griffith Garten, their attorney in fact, on the one part, and Andrew and George Beirne of Monroe County of the other part. For one dollar James and Elizabeth Miller convey to Andrew and George Beirne 181a on Indian Creek, it being the same tract upon which Nathaniel Garten now lives and part of a parcel of land deeded to James Miller by James Miller Sr and his wifeby deed dated 17 June, 1800. This deed conveyed to James Miller (then called James Miller Jr.) 211a (31a of the 211a was heretofore conveyed to Richard Garten) boundary's mention Halsted's and Maddy's lines.

James Miller. Witnesses: Andw. Daugherty, Ericus Smith. Proved June Term 1810. Recorded 4 Dec 1810
