    1-4 James McClung, b. Dec. 7, 1767; d. Jan. 14, 1817; m. Mar. ___ 1791, Elizabeth McPheeter, b. June 30, 1770; d. Dec. 13, 1813. Both are buried at Timber Ridge church-yard.
    Three children, viz.:
    1-5 Henry McClung, minor at the time of father's death.
    2-5 John A. McClung, d. in Florence, Ala.
    3-5 James Harvey McClung, b. June 5, 1805, near Timber Ridge Church, Rockbridge Co., Va.; d. Feb. 3, 1870, in Covington, Ky. Before his marriage he clerked at Sweet Springs, W. Va.; m. Jan. 24, 1841, at Charlottesville, Va., Elizabeth Widderfield; b. April 5, 1822; d. Dec. 21, 1890; dau. of James H. Widderfield. They lived at Sweet Spring, W. Va., and Charlottesville, Va. He taught school on the Scottsville Turnpike; also farmed a few years and then engaged in merchndizing at Phillippi, Va. Went to Cincinnati, Ohio, about 1849; a year later he moved to Covington, Ky., there he spent the remainder of his life. Five children. [additional info available in book]
