    Wynnewood Gazette Obituary of J. M. HOGUE, 16 Apr 1931.

    J. M. Hogue was born in Blount County, Tenn., January 11, 1857. He died April 12, 1931. Funeral services were held in the Coonrod Funeral Home at two o’clock Monday afternoon in charge of Rev. A S. Cameron, pastor of the Methodist church, and interment took place in Oaklawn Cemetery.

    Mr. Hogue was married to Miss Mary L. Hicks, Sept. 8, 1878. Nine children were born to this union and all of them are living. All but three were present at the funeral.

    Mr. Hogue professed religion in 1879 and joined the Methodist church. He continued in the Master’s work until the end. He was a member of the Wynnewood Burial Association and his family was one of the first to reap its benefits
