Information from “Virginia/West Virginia Genealogical Data from Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty Land Warrant Records”, Vol. 2, compiled by Patrick G. Wardell, Lt. Col. U.S. Army Ret. :

Harrison, James - entered service 1776 in Virginia; granted Pension age 76 in Botetourt County, Virginia in 1818; died there 9/1841; married (1) ? & had at least 5 children by her; married (2) there 12/12/1823 Mary Horne/Mome, widow of Jacob who died there 6/1817 leaving issue by Mary; soldier & Mary had only 1 child, Burum, who was born 12/11/1824; widow resided there to 1834, thence to Hawkins County, Tennessee where granted Pension in 1853 at age 73; died there 2/11/1768; her last will and testament of 9/12/1855 there listed son Burum executor, & listed daughter Sibby Haunce (born 1/18/1813-4 Botetourt County, Virginia), daughter Elizabeth, wife of Alexander Armstrong, daughter Sallie (born Botetourt County, Virginia 5/19/1806), daughter Polly Parrish & son Burum as heirs; widow's Pension unpaid during Civil War & son Burum aided her in 1866 to get Pension restored; soldier's child by 1st wife mentioned but not named resided in Ohio & Virginia when he died including son John who resided in Ohio; wife's heirs living in 1872: Burum Harrison, Sibby Hontz, James Dameron & wife Polly, & Polly wife of Francis Gray; Francis Miller, husband of soldier's widow's daughter, died 1865.
