Will Transcript
- I James Curry do hereby make my last Will and Testament in Manner and Form following that is to say ~ 1st I desire that my Heirs pay out of my Estate all my just debts and funeral Expenses:
- 2nd, After my just debts and funeral Expenses, I give to my Wife Jean Curry an third of my Estate both personal and real and one Horse that she claims and his saddle Bridle and Martingale, and feather Bed that she claims and the necessary Cloathing belonging to the same, and the small room in my House and the Loom and Tachling.
- 3rdly, I give to my sons Robert Curry, James Curry, Josia Curry, William Francis Curry, Benjamin Addison Curry and George Washington Curry, all the rest of my Estate both personal and real of what nature of __ind soever it may e, to be equally divided amongst them, except Eighty Dollars which I allow my son William Francis Curry more than his share, to be paid in Property at the valuation of the Appraisers, also fifty Dollars to Each of my Daughters Anne Curry and Polly Curry to be paid in Property at the valuation of the Appraisers, to them and their Heirs forever ~
- Should any of my Heirs to to Law about my Estate, he, she or them so Doing, will forfeit their share of my Estate, to be equally divided amongst my Heirs ~
- And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint James Curry Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all other or former Wills or Testaments by me heretofore made
- In Witness whereon I have hereunto set my hand and affix my Seal this thirtieth day of November in the Year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and thirty one.

- Signed, sealed published and declared by James Curry as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence and hearing of us, who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as Witnesses.

- Virginia. At a Court held for the County of Monroe at the Court House the 20th day of February 1832
- This last Will and Testament of James Curry Dec'd. was presented in Court and proven by the Oaths of Andrew Nickell and Philip Beamer subscribing Witnesses thereto, and the Same, is ordered to be certified to the Clerk of the County Court of Pendleton, to be there recorded.

- At a Court held for Pendleton County the 7th day of March 1832.
- The Last Will and Testament of James Curry dec'd was presented in Court, and being proven by Andrew Nickle and Philip Beamer in the County Court of Monroe as appears by a Certificate of the Clerk of said Court, is admitted to record. Whereupon James Curry the Executor therein named who made oath thereto; and came into Court gave bond with Security, Conditioned as the Law directs.
