He states he wasborn in Mecklenburg Co. , Va. 18 November 1759 and the records are ina bible in possession of his youngest brother , Francis Clark, livingin Mercer Co., Ky. He lived in Mecklenburg Co., Va. Until 1782 whe nhe removed to Mercer Co., Ky. Affiant 1: Henry Sparrow Henry Sparrow: Affidavit made in Washington Co., Ky., he served withJames Clark in the AR W and they were raised in the same County. Mary Summers married James Clark, 18 March 1782 in Madison County, Kentucky. James Clark son of Francis Clark Sr., and Dorcas Unknown. After the death of Mary Summers Clark, James Clark married Dorthea Woodson.
