« Tm / Jacobi Cary / I doe make and Ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner following after my debts and ffuneral charges paid I give and bequeath to my servant Mary Sanders ffifty pounds besides the Note she has of my hand and Wages due to her the remainder I give to my Neece and Nephew ffras. and Cary Stevens Witness my hand the third day of Sept. 1725—James Cary

Appeared personally Cary Hampton of the Parish of St. Austins London Tabacconist and Ambrose Hampton of the same Parish Vintner and being severally Sworne on the Holy Evangilists to depose the Truth did severally depose as follows That Mr James Cary late of the Parish of St. Austins London aforesaid deceased was these Deponents Uncle that they have often seen him write and therefore are very well acquainted with his Character and Manner of hand writing and having carefully perused the paper Writing here unto annexed purporting the last Will of the said deceased beginning thus I do make and ordaine this my last will, and ending thus, Witness my hand the third day of Sept. 1725—and Subscribed James Cary do severally depose that they do verily believe the same to be totally wrote and subscribed by and with the proper hand of the said James Cary deceased—Cary Hampton Ambrose Hampton—.
