Exec: sons John and James
Beq: to dearly beloved wife Nancy her maintenance on the plantation "where I now live and the dwelling house on the same during her life or widowhood", one bed and furniture for the same, one spinning wheel, Negro girl Sarah, one mare, saddle, 4 milk cows and calves, and also "my (?) horse during her continuance on the place".
to son John, land northwest of the home plantation on draft leading to the Jackson River, 9 horses and all the "horned cattle he now claims", a gold watch and rifle gun.
to daughter Jinny Carlile, 1 bed and furniture, spinning wheel, two mares, colt, saddle, 4 cows and calves, 2 "heffers".
to sons James, Robert, William, Samuel and Alexander, and to daughter Nancy, all personal estate, slaves and debts due, to receive when of age in proportion of interest for scholling.
to James, Robert, William, Samuel and Alexander, the home plantation to be sold, with equal division of proceeds.
to son James a silver watch and rifle gun.
