    To all Christian people tow whome this Deede of Revocation Shall Come, Stephen Paine of Rehoboth & Nathanill Paine of Bristoll both of the Province of the Massachusetts in New England, & Exsecutors the their deceased Grand farther Mr. Stephen Paine of said Rehoboth, Sendeth greeteing.
    Whereas James Blackmar of the Towne of Providence in the Colloney of Rhode Island & Providence plantations in New England was formerly possessed of a quantetye or share of Land Scituate lieing & being in the Northerne part of the Townshipp of Providence aforesaid, at, or about a place called Westquadomesett; and whereas the said James Blackmar by an instrument under his hand did make over, or lay to Pawne the said quantetye or Share of land unto the aforesaid Mr. Stephen Paine of Rehoboth (who is now deceased) for Securitye to him for a Certaine sum of money which the said James Blackmar borrowed of the said Mr. Stephen Paine; But the abovesaid Stephen Paine of Rehoboth and Nathaniell Paine of Bristoll Exsecutors to the aforesaid Mr. Stephen Paine (who is now deceased) having now made up accounts with the said James Blackmar as to the said Land & the said monies so lent by the aforesaid Mr. Stephen Paine their Grandfather; & doe find that part of the said Monies so lent was formerly by the said James Blackmar payd, & the remaineing of the said sum of Money (which was lent as aforesaid) the said Stephen Paine & Nathaniell Paine, Exsecutors to the aforesaid  Mr. Stephen Paine (who is now deceased) doe hereby Owne & acknowledge that they have of the said James Blackmar now received, with what use or Interest might be due, or was by them desired; And the said Stephen Paine & Nathaniell Paine Exsecutors as aforesaid, Doe by these presents fully, Clearly, & Absolutely Aquitt & discharge the said James Blackmar his Heirs, Exsecutors, & Administrators of the said debt of money lent as aforesaid; So that the said lands so made over, or laid to Pawne unto said Mr. Stephen Paine(who is now deceased) is now by the said payment  delivered, Set at liberty, and made a free Possession to the said James Blackmar his heirs Exsecutors Administrators & Assignes for Ever: But matters so falling out that the aforesaid instrument of making over the said land  by the said James Blackmar, Cannot well by said Stephen Paine & the said Nathaniell Paine Exsecutors to the aforesaid Mr. Stephen Paine (who is now deceased)  be returned unto the said James Blackmar but that some inconveniencye may happen somewayes to accrue; Therefore Know Yee That wee the said Stephen Paine and Nathaniell Paine Esecutors to our Grandfather the aforesaid deceased Mr. Stephen Paine for the Consideration of the abovesaid lone Money being now in Currant Silver Money fully discharged & Paid by the aforesaid James Blackmar; Have Remised, Released, And by these presents for us our heirs Exsecutors & Administrators, & Every of us our hiers Exsecutors & Administrators Doe Remise, Release, & altogether for ever quitt clame unto the said James Blackmar of the aforesaid Towne of Providence in his full &  peaceable Possession & Seisin being, & to the Heirs & Assignes of the said  James Blackmar; All Estate, Right, Title, Intrest, use, Possession, Revirsion, Claime, & demand whatsoever which wee the said Stephen Paine & Nathaniell Paine Ever had, have, or which hereafter wee or our heirs can or may claime to have (by virtue of our being Exsecutors to our said deceased Grandfather theaforesaid Mr. Stephen Paine) in all the aforesaid Part, quantetye, or share of  landes which belonged unto the said James Blackmar in the northerne part of the aforesaid Providence Towneshipp, at or about the place called Westquadomesett, To, of, & in all the said lands with the appurtenances; So that Neither wee the said Stephen Paine & Nathaniell Paine, nor our heirs Exsecutors nor Administrators, any Right, Estate, Title, Intrest, use, Possession, Reversion, Clayme & demand to, of, or in the premises, or any part thereof at any time hereafter can, or may challinge, claime, or Require; But of  & from all action of  Right, Estate, Title, Intrest, & demand thereunto, or to any part thereof to be had; wee the said Stephen Paine and, Nathaniell Paine, our heirs Exsecutors, &  Administrators be altogether barred, & for ever Excluded by these presents; In Wittnes of the premises wee the said Stephen Paine & Nathaniell Paine doe hereunto set our hands & seales the twenty & Ninth day of Januarey in the yeare one Thousand Seven hundred.

   The aforesaid Stephen Paine & Nathaniell Paine Exsecutors of aforesaid;  personally appeared before me Joseph Williams Assistant, & did acknowledge the above written instrument to be their act & deede, this Twenty & ninth day of Januarey 1700;

  Laid out unto James Blackmar one hundred & fifty acres of land which said land is scituate west from Wansokett hill, & is bounded on the East with the land of Israel Arnold & is in length North & South 320 poles & in breadth East & West 75 poles, the Northeast Cornner is a small Pine Tree marked standing by the little River Comonly Called the branch of Pautucket River; the north end of said land is bounded by the said branch,  the Norwest Cornner is a small Pine tree standing  by said branch, the southwest Cornner an heape of stones about it, south end bounding with Townes Comon, & on the West with the land of Edward Inman & his Partners.

LAND: The Early Records of the Town of Providence Volume XI Being the Book of Records Desingnated as "Town Meeting No. 1 1692 - 1715" Printed 1896 Page 120 At a Towne Meeting October ye 27th 1707 quarter day Whereas there was this day an Instrument written Concerning lands lieing on Wansokett hill Claimed by James Blackmar desireing to have it Recorded, but the Towne at presant doe not see cause to allow ye Recording said Instrument; but doe Susspend it.

BURIAL: Here lieth the Body of Jame Blackmar who Departed this Life Auguit y 9th 1710 New to the Grave His Body is Gone and we know not when it will Return but it will into will the tell of his race and meet the lord Jesus

    1709, Sep. 16. Administration to widow Mary and son John.
           Inventory, £127 ł Viz: wearing apparel, 2 linen wheels, woolen wheel, pewter. warrning pan, gun and sword, corn, hay, 2
           oxen, 10 cows, 2 steers, 6 heifers, 2 two years, a horse, 2 swine.
           He was buried in the Williams' Burying Ground (now in Roger Williams Park), as was also his widow.
