*Some researchers give Mamie Gray as Jacob's 4th wife; most believe that this was a name corruption of 3rd wife, Jemima (Mamie) Rae (Gray), as a Northampton merchant noted the sale of shoes to Jacob and thread to wife, Jemima long after the reputed marriage to a 'Mamie Gray'.
