Notes by Darrell Jackson: "Jacob, his wife's and his children's names and birth dates are from the Missouri Jackson's Family History that is available from the Family History Center of the Mormon Church.

"Book A of the Campbell Co, TN Marriage Book indicates that a license was issued on 15 May 1849. The Marriage Certificates was not returned.

"In the 1850 Campbell Co, TN census, he has his first child living in the household. He ownes no real estate and his occupation is Farmer.

"Migrated to Missouri in a covered wagon in 1854. Settled in Gentry County first, then to Ray County, Missouri."

Janie notes that the record from the above source all say that the locations were in Polo, Ray County; but Polo is in Caldwell County. I checked MapQuest map of the area and note that Polo is close to the county line of the two counties. These folks may have lived in Ray County in a rural area and the nearest shopping village was in Polo, Caldwell County. I have not checked land records to know in which county they actually lived and recorded documents.
