Jacob Casner married Peggy Delaney in Washington Co., TN. 01/28/1811.The will of John Delaney Sr leaves Margaret's portion of his estate toher daughter's Peggy & Ruth. They were to receive her part at theircoming of age. The Chancery Court Minutes of February 1850 states thechildren of Margaret Cavener wife of Jacob Cavener - both dec'd shallreceive her 1/12th portion of her brother David Delaney estate. Daviddied in 1839 intestate & single. After Peggy's death Jacob marriedPolly Matlock in Roane Co., TN. 09/28/1816. The witness of Jacob'smarriage to Polly Matlock was a George Pickle. When Jacob arrived fromMississippi in Texas in 1833 he was a widower in a party of 3 malesand 1 female. Jacob later remarried. Jacob is listed on the 1846 Poll List of Fort Bend, Texas.
