Jacob Aldrich, b. Braintree "1676, 5, 7", d. 1753, m. "1699, 9, 15" Margery Hayward, m. (2) "1722,4,20" Mary Fletcher, wid. of Hezekiah Fletcher, d/o --- Wood. Will proved "1753, 8, 23", mentions wife Mary {"all money and household goods she brought to his estate"], son Jacob, Noah; 5 daughters: Mercy Taft, Hannah Harwood, Experience Cragin, Bethiah Fletcher, and Margery Ammidown".
[Note: While Jacob's will shows he remarried, to a 2nd wife named Mary, the will of Abraham Wood refers to his daughter Mary Fletcher in 1743, so the 2nd wife was not Mary (Wood) Fletcher. The date 20 Apr 1722 given by Austin is clearly an misreading of the marriage of son Jacob Aldrich and daughter Mary Fletcher on 20 Apr 1732, and as a result of his misreading, he must have assumed it referred to the older generation, since the daughter was only 12 in 1722, though a very marriageable 22 in 1732.]
