Jael3 Howland (Isaac2, John1) was born at Middleborough 13 October 1688 and died there 9 November 1754 [MD 15:7 gives the death year of Jael Southworth as 1745, but she was alive in the 1750 deed and appears to have died before 3 March 1756. Also the age at death makes more sense with a death year of 1754] in her 67th year. … On 1 March 1750 Nathaniel Southworth and his wife Jael of Middleborough sold to Silvanus Barrows of Middleborough their right in the homestead lot of "Old Mr Howland" given to our brother Seth Howland late of Middleborough, deceased, and was set off to Nathaniel and Jael by division. On 15 December 1755 this deed was acknowledged by Nathaniel Southworth and on 3 March 1756 the witnesses acknowledged that they saw Jael sign the deed.
