Fought in the Revolutionary War. Was commanded by Col. Reuben Read and attached to Col. Jonathan's Warner's malitia regiment. They marched from Western (nowWarren) to Roxbury on 20 April 1775. He served again under Capt. Joseph Cutler, marching with other men from Western to serve Gen. Gates 24 Sept 1777.
