    Ruth L. Pierce was born February 11, 1818, in St. Lawrence Co, NY, the daughter of Reverend Isaac Pierce and his wife Elizabeth Taylor. She received her endowments in the Nauvoo Temple in 1846. Whitney names her as one of the wives of Heber C. Kimball. On April 29, 1838, she had married Monroe Cazier to whom she bore six children. She came to Utah in 1852. After the death of Mr. Cazier, Aug 14, 1861, she married John Huntington and resided in Glenwood, UT.
