Dec 28, l763-Date of a bond by Robert McKay Jr for land bought between Samuel Odell and Isaac Job. The land had been willed McKay by his father to Isaac by his father, land originally in bond to Joist Hite and Robert McKay and transferred to Abraham Job 4 Aug l74l. Later Henry Nelson laid claim to the land.

l765-David and Isaac Job laid claim to a residue of 300 acres of the above land. David and Elisha Job agreed to pay l00 pounds curren money of Virginia to Isaac Job.

March 1767- Isaac and various settlers west of the New River petitioned for a road from Vause's by Ingles Ferry to Peak Creek. In May, John Buchanan appealed to the General Crt to prevent the establishment of a road on the grounds that it was on the lands of the Western Waters; .....
