Lisa and Jackie,
The theory of Mary Harter, past Historian of the
Henckel Family, was that a Henkle husband was fabricated for Barbara
Henkle by early family historians--back before anyone admitted that
a young singlelady could be a mother.I would also be most
interested if anyone can identify the father ofEphraim Henkle. Several
years ago I searched the Hidy Family recordswhich had no clues.
