ISAAC FARROW WILL 1803 PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA

In the name of God Amen. ISAAC FARROW of the County of Prince William and State of Virginia being weak of body but of perfect sound minds and memory do make this my last will and testament as follows to wit.
ITEM I give unto my daughter SIBBY RENO one negro woman name Patients and all her increase also four young negroes now in her possession namely David, Jane, Sarah and Charles and after her decease the hole of the said negroes with all of their increase to be equally divided between all her children. I also give her four hundred pounds cash to be paid to her specie to be paid out upon bond and the interest thereof to be for her own use yearly and at her death the principal to be divided equally between her two sons George Reno and William Reno. I give unto my grandson William Reno one negro boy named Lawson.
ITEM I give unto my son JOHN FARROW one negro woman named Lucy and all her increase also four young negroes now in his possession namely Frank, Jesse, Samuel and Jacob and at his death to be equally divided between all his children.
ITEM I give unto my grandson Isaac Farrow one negro girl named Alse also two hundred pounds cash.
ITEM I give unto my daughter MARY JACKSON five young negroes now in her possession namely Nell, Robert, David, Tom and Mason. I also give her four hundred pounds cash to be paid to her in specie to be put out upon Bond and the interest to be for her own use yearly and after her death two hundred pounds of the principle to her son John Farrow Jackson. I also give unto John Farrow Jackson two hundred pounds cash and one mulatto boy named Robert.
ITEM I give unto my granddaughter Nancy Strother one negro boy named Lawson that she hath now in her possession.
ITEM I give unto my granddaughter Susannah Botts one negro boy named Lewis that she hath now in her possession.
ITEM I give unto my granddaughter Sibby Davis one negro girl named Agg.
ITEM I give unto my granddaughter Elizabeth Carney* one negro girl named Patients also one hundred pounds cash and no more.
And my desire is that all my lands negroes stock of all kinds household and kitching furniture and all my property of every kind be sold for cash and the money arising their from with that I have. I have on bonds and that I have in the house except what I have already given in this will is to be equally divided between all my grandchildren except Elizabeth Carney and I do nominate and appoint my two sons in law Samuel Jackson and Enoch Reno my hole and sole executors of this my last will and testament and I do utterly revoke disannul and disallow all other wills or bequests before this time mentioned as witness my hand and seal this second Day of December one thousand eight hundred and three.

At a Court continued and held for Prince William County Feby 7th 1804. The last will and testament of ISAAC FARROW deceased was presented to the Court by Samuel Jackson and Enoch Renoe the Executors therein named who made oath thereto according to law and the said will being proven by the oaths of JOHN CORNWELL, William B. Webster and William Norman was ordered to be recorded and the said Exors. having performed what is usual in such cases certificate is granted them for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
