Clay Abrams cites the Doty-Doten Family America Book: Descendants of Edward Doty, An emigrant of the Mayflower, 1620, Brooklyn, NY, 1897,compiled by Ethan Alan Doty: Isaac Doty, son of Isaac Doty and Elizabeth England as the husband of Elizabeth Jackson, d/o Colonel John Jackson and Elizabeth Seaman. It also mentions that they lived in Oyster Bay.

Isaac's name appears in deeds, 1695, and frequently after that date. On March 29, 1697, his father conveyed to him by gift, a farm. In 1705, Isaac Doty Jr., was chosend as warden for Oyster Bay. On Nov 24, 1716, his ear marks are entered on the town records. On July 30, 1718, he buys of the executors of his brother, Joseph, an equal one-third part of a farm given by his father ot Jospeh, Jacob and James Doty.

This book says that Isaac's wife was Elizabeth Jackson, daughter of Col. John Jackson. But other records indicate that this Elizabeth was already married to Charles Doughty and that Charles was still living. So this is an area of conflict and I have not included Elizabeth Jackson as Isaac's wife until perhaps more info can be found to verify this. If anyone can help resolve this, I'll appreciate it.
