Facts and Events
Name Irvin Grant Dry
Gender Male
Birth? 31 Mar 1864 Boyertown, Berks County, Pennsylvania
Death[1] 14 Feb 1948 Trimble, Crawford County, Illinois
Burial? 16 Feb 1948 Palestine, Crawford County, Illinois

Married Ella Jane Stout on 11 Jan 1894 in Palestine, Crawford Co., Illinois. Andrew Rebman arebman311@aol.com> says: "This was the lady that I think I remember from my small childhood days, as "Aunt Ella Greer". Mother says that her tombstone has the name as Della, and that may be correct because her sister Adda, named her only daughter Della. She was married first to Irvin Dry. The marriage was at the bride's home, and Elder J. C. Stoner (I believe a brother to my great grandmother Jordan) perfomed the ceremony. The Stout book has Aunt Ella born in 1872. It also has her marrying Irwin (not Irvin) Dry at age 12 in 1884. We have it as 1894, of course. Initiatory done by Dorothy Fuller, and endowment by either Linda Lang or Margie Swenson."
