Mrs.. Irma Saul Rich ELON COLLEGE — Mrs.. Irma Saul Rich, 80, of Blakey Hall, died at 10:18 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2000, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. She was formerly of Oak Street, Burlington.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Mr. Hobart G. Rich, who survives, and the daughter of Mr. William L. Saul and Mrs.. Monnie C. Lee Saul, both deceased. She was a member of Davis Street United Methodist Church, the Golden Rule Sunday School Class and Circle No. 1. She was a former volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Survivors other than her husband of the home include two sons, Mr. David Gordon Rich of Browns Summit, and Dr. Stephen S. Rich of Mocksville; a brother, Mr. Curtis Saul of Austin, Texas; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death in death by a brother, Mr. Holt Saul.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington by Dr. Michael Hobbs, pastor of Davis Street United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Ken Tyson, chaplain at Blakey Hall. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery.

The family will be at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington one hour before the service.
