SSAN 226-09-7738 Aunt Irene was a great lady! She was strong when Uncle Thomas died, and she said that he did not want to live and grow old and have to have someone to take care of him. She died 29 years after he did, and enjoyed life to the fullest. She always came to all our family reunions, including the one in Texas. We were privileged to have her ride with us on our trip back to Virginia after the reunion. Her daughter, Thelma, was the one who tenderly cared for her when she became ill and bed-ridden.
