  • Vol. 2 - Robert Adams vs. Johnson--O. S. 171; N. S. 60--Bill, 1809. Orator's uncle, _____ Adams, about 177_ resided in that part now Washington County and had surveyed to him a lot from the Loyal Company. He sold to Hugh Johnston, who sold to Buchanan, and then died. Orator's uncle moved to Kentucky. Hugh Johnston and Robert Johnston were brothers. Thomas Edmonson married the only daughter and heir of said _____ Buchanan. Robert and Hugh Johnson have no heirs except in Ireland.
