    "Rob't Goin, deceased...A citation on this estate was obtained by Hugh Goin which being returned this day the Administration of said estate was granted to the said Hugh Goin with John McGill and Daniel Goin securities in a bond of $7000. An order issued to sell the personal estate on a credit of 12 months."

    "Lyttleton Hollis, Moses Hollis, Burwell Hollis, Benjamin Hollis, John Dunlap & Elisabeth his wife of the District of Fairfield", in consideration of the sum of ten dollars, conveyed to Hugh Goings [sic] one half of a tract of land situate "in the district of Fairfield and state aforesaid on the waters of the Wateree Creek, being part of a tract of two hundred acres originally granted to John Lee, by him conveyed to Nottey Holly and Elizabeth Holly, conveyed to James Hollis, one Father deceased, she being the only heir at Law of the said Nottey -- the moiety hereby conveyed is the residue of the Said tract of two hundred after deducting therefrom
    the part will appear by reference to the deed from said Cantry to said Hollis".

    By agreement dated September 1, 1820, Hugh Goen agreed to sell to Samuel Starke, upon receipt of $400, representing the first installment of a total purchase price of $600, a tract of land containing 103 acres, "commonly called the Littleton Hollis tract", which tract adjoined "land belonging to John Rick Junior and Burrell Hollis & William Hollis and lies on the mill creek Branch waters of the Wateree Creek". Recorded February 28, 1821.

    John Pickell of Fairfield District, for and in consideration of the sum fifty dollars, conveyed to Hugh Going [sic] "the half of a certain tract or parcel of land owned by James Hollis Senr and bought by Zachariah Conty at sheriff sale and his right conveyed to the above Hugh Going, containing one hundred and three acres more or less, bounded on the N east by land supposed to belong to Richard Harrison on the Sount by John Pickett Junr land, said land lying on the waters of the Wateree creek, Fairfield District, being the half of a survey of Two hundred acres".

    Hugh Bartley, Sherriff of Fairfield District, sold at public sale to Hugh Goin for the sum of Sixty dollars, all of the rights of Littleton Hollis, Benjamin Hollis and Moses Hollis in and to "one half of all the certain piece parcel and tract of land containing one hundred acres more or less, Situate and being in the district of Fairfield on the waters of the Wateree creek adjoining lands of John Pickett and others". The tract was sold pursuant to "a writ of fiere faceas issued out of the Court of Common Pleas held for the District of Fairfield", directing the Sheriff to "to levey the sum of Sixty five dollars damages and costs" against the "the goods and chattels, lands and tenements of Littleton Hollis, Benjamin Hollis and Moses Hollis". Recorded September 21, 1822.
